About Us

jenniferJennifer Lee
Director of the Xiao Long Center. In response to the demand for quality Mandarin language instruction in Brooklyn for children and adults, Jennifer started the Xiao Long Center in 2007 in Boerum Hill where she has been a long-time resident. Born and raised in New York City, Ms. Lee's Asian American heritage has given her a unique appreciation of both cultures. In Chinatown, she learned to speak Cantonese and Mandarin.

Jennifer is a graduate of The Cooper Union holding a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. She received an MSEE and an MBA from Columbia University. In her previous career, she worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories and Deutsche Bank. Jennifer has also devoted much of her time to fundraising for such institutions as the Public Theater. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and bouldering with her family. Email Jennifer
